Procurement Policy

Procurement Policy

Somali Welfare Society conducts procurement in a transparent, competitive, and accountable manner to obtain good value while maintaining quality, fairness, and integrity. Procurement decisions must be based on documented needs, approved budgets, and clear specifications.

Where appropriate, SWS seeks quotations from qualified suppliers and evaluates offers using price, quality, reliability, delivery time, and compliance with requirements. Conflicts of interest must be declared and managed before any procurement decision is made.

Procurement records are retained for audit, donor reporting, and organizational accountability. Suppliers are expected to follow ethical standards and deliver goods or services as agreed.
