Your kindness can change a child’s life and help build a stronger future for generations to come. Somali Welfare Society supports orphaned and vulnerable children by providing food, shelter, education, clothing, school materials, medical care, protection, and a safe living environment.
SWS works with children in Garowe, Galkaio, and other communities in Puntland. Many children supported through SWS have gone on to become community leaders, doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs, and active members of society.
Objectives
- Provide shelter and care for orphaned, abandoned, and vulnerable children.
- Protect and promote children’s health and welfare.
- Support children’s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development.
- Encourage responsibility, confidence, and self-esteem.
- Protect children from abuse, discrimination, exploitation, and harmful punishment.
- Ensure access to education, health care, shelter, clothing, and daily meals.
