Child Protection Policy

Somali Welfare Society is committed to protecting children from abuse, neglect, exploitation, and harm in every program and activity. The safety, dignity, and best interests of children are central to our work.

Staff, volunteers, partners, and representatives must treat children with respect, maintain appropriate boundaries, and report any safeguarding concern through established channels. SWS promotes safe recruitment, awareness, supervision, and response procedures.

Any allegation or concern involving child protection is taken seriously and handled with confidentiality, urgency, and care. The organization works to create child-safe environments where vulnerable children can learn, grow, and receive support without fear.
