Mission

Our Mission

The mission of Somali Welfare Society is to restore dignity, security, care, and hope to orphaned, abandoned, and vulnerable children by providing shelter, protection, education, health care, and daily support.

SWS also works to protect the rights of children and vulnerable people by providing emotional, physical, health, and social support. The organization contributes to community development, water and sanitation, humanitarian emergency response, and capacity building.

SWS aims to reduce poverty through direct community development action in five major sectors:

• Orphan care
• Clean water and sanitation
• Health care
• Education
• Community development and environmental protection
